   We currently often divide vitiligo into three stages: 1. budding stage, 2. stable stage, and 3. spreading stage.The white patches in the stable period are generally in a calm state, and vitiligo no longer spreads or new white patches appear.When vitiligo is in a stable phase, the white patches stop developing, the boundaries are clear, and the pigmentation at the edges of the white patches deepens.

   There are very few patients with vitiligo who have stable white patches after onset, and even fewer who do not develop the disease for life.Most patients experience white patches spreading shortly after onset or the condition begins to develop a few years later.

   Regardless of the stage, location, or type of vitiligo, patients should seek timely treatment, seek medical attention promptly, and choose reputable hospitals and phototherapy equipment.Do not blindly follow the trend of treatment, and do not wait until the condition worsens before taking treatment seriously.
