Clinical Application and Usage of LED Spectral Therapy Device (Blue Light)
Clinical efficacy of blue light (417nm ± 10nm)
Wavelength (417nm ± 10nm), mainly used for mild to moderate acne, eliminating Propionibacterium acnes, inhibiting sebaceous gland secretion of oil, reducing inflammatory response, and improving immune mechanism.
Principle of Blue Light Therapy
Removing acne is achieved through a series of natural physical and chemical processes, including eliminating Propionibacterium acnes, altering the pH value inside cells, while inhibiting sebum secretion from sebaceous gland cells, reducing inflammatory reactions, and importantly improving immune mechanisms. However, the penetration depth of blue light is limited, so multiple continuous treatments are required. Therefore, blue light is suitable for oily skin, superficial inflammatory papules, and pustules, but its effect on deeper cysts and nodules is not satisfactory. To enhance the therapeutic effect, combination therapy can also be used, such as traditional Chinese medicine inversion combined with blue light therapy for moderate acne.
Treatment steps
1. Makeup remover
2. Cleansing
3. Eliminate acne
4. Wear protective goggles
5. Adjust the distance between the bald head and the patient's face to 5-8 centimeters
6. Adjust the appropriate time for irradiation, usually 10-15 minutes for red light and 5-10 minutes for blue light
7. After irradiation, use targeted moisturizing and repairing products, or combine with photosensitizers for better results.
